Among other things, The Internet has enabled written correspondance to travel electronically around the world with the click of a mouse and it is hard to imagine a day when letters were delivered on horseback between Boston and New York. Yet that is exactly how it all began back in the 1600s when the post rider left Manhattan on the first Monday of every month and returned within the month from Boston again.

Post Road dot com is an experiment in news agregate for the emergency services along the Boston Post Road in Connecticut. So that’s all the shore towns and cities plus Orange. And I guess a map would be nice right about now.
